Blows from your staffies forehead
When Jack accidentally bumps into my leg or face, its like coping a hard punch from someone.
Just yesterday Jack was running towards with a bit of momentum and he went head first right into my shin. I thought I broke my leg
Tell me of your experiences....

Which one! I'm forever being nutted by Moo, generally when I bend down to her and she jumps up at the same time!

Re: Blows from your staffies forehead
I copped a nice shiner from Kita when she was about 5 or 6. I bent down as she jumped up. Her shin head butt were pretty painful too. Hard to believe it these days. Izzy is pretty good, either that or I've finally got my timing right on moving out of the way - just in time.

I was playing football with Harry yesterday and thought I was being clever kicking the ball backwards. That is until he charged head first between my legs to get to the ball and one 'rather overweight stupid old woman' got knocked to the floor!
Quickly picked myself up, no damage except to my dignity but covered in leaves, and looked around to see if any of the neighbours were watching

Re: Blows from your staffies forehead
I wasn't too well over the weekend, and on Saturday I felt particularly poorly and was a bit out of it. I went outside to feed Vlad his lunch and try and have a little play with him... He was so excited he came running over and knocked me almost flying! Lucky his kennel was close for me to grab, because if it wasn't, I would have been on my backside! And he's only 5 months!!! That head of his is going to be a force to be reckoned with!

Yep, my last staffy Zac took me off my feet a couple of times by hitting me square in the shin running back to me ... nearly p!ssed my pants the one time as I fully expected to see a bone stuck outa my leg somewhere

Re: Blows from your staffies forehead
when Junior used to do it, it could floor someone, especially if he took a dislike to that person or I did. He deliberately floored someone when he was 2 1/2 because they had just had a go at me. No command from me, they turned away and he freight trained into the back of their knees. I've never laughed so hard in my life, but I trained him out of doing it on impulse. He has such a large head and it can get worrying at times.
It a trait easily trained out and I was surprised, but when he was younger, he used that head for everything. Opening doors, pushing through bushes, catching falling food (XD). On an offchance, he headbutted my brother and chipped his tooth, it was my brothers fault though XD

Skye did a beauty with a delivery guy! He'd passed over the parcel and as my fellas grabbed it she darted out of the door, knocked him straight onto his backside an peed all over him in excitement! Hahaha! luckily he saw the funny side though, I laughed for days after that!

Re: Blows from your staffies forehead
I've lost count of the fat lips, black eyes & bruised shins I've had from Bandit & Dempsey. I never had any problems at all from any of my other breeds!
Bandit's favourite thing was charging into the back of your knees, knocking you flat on your back & then jumping all over you. Dempsey just head butts everything!
I bet there was at least one person who saw it & had a little giggle!

While on a walk a while ago i thought it would be funny to run away from the dogs and see how far i could get. Next thing i know i feel a hard blow to the back of my knee and over i go lol.
Ive also been woken up by an accidental headbutt from one of my dogs moving about resulting in a bust lip lol

Bob's missus here. The other night, Sophie was in bed with us and decided to nick my slippers that were on the floor beside the bed. I bent down to retrieve the slipper at the same time Sophie jumped up onto the bed. Result - smacked in the teeth by her head. There was me in the bed groaning loudly. Son was in bed in the adjacent room. Gawd knows what he thought was going on in ours
