Excercise - How much is enough?
I walk Tyson (at heel and attentive mode for 20 minutes, sniff session for about 5 mins in between) for a minimum of an hour every day. Most days we walk an hour in the morning and again an hour in the evening and three times a week we follow the walk with play at the park during which he runs himself silly. He is a very high energy dog but this regime seems to be working for us at the moment. Is he getting enough excercise?

Sounds like he is getting plenty of exercise to me. Usually two 45 minute walks a day are the minimum. They will have some days where they are a bit more enegetic though and all of them are a bit different.

Sounds like he's getting enough, but they're all different! Is he tired when he gets home?

He tends to flop down and remain calm for about 30 minutes then the game is on again un less he has something like a chew toy

A good game of tug helps or if you have the space a spring pole would let him tire himself out.

my lot get eight miles off lead which is about 4 hours going through a forest and then roughly an hour of boisterous play and a 30 minute walk in the night/early hours morning before bed and they still have energy especially Blondy nothing seems to tire that girl out.
I think it depends on the dog so if he is knackered its enough i guess.
