Runny Bum
Last night Rocky had a bit of diarrhoea. He came and woke us up at about 3am and asked to go out, we thought he just needed a wee, but it was a bit more than that.
We took him out for a short walk this morning, thinking he may still be feeling a bit off colour, and he still had a bit of it then too.
Does anyone have any advice for this? What, if anything, should we give him or do differently? He is such a good dog to come and ask us to go out when feeling unwell, we couldn't believe it. We just want him to be as comfortable as possible. He is just quite sleepy now. Many thanks in advance.

Re: Runny Bum
I'd starve him for 24 hours to rest his tum, and then give him something bland (chicken/fish/rice or scarmbled egg/mashed potato etc) for the next day.
You can try some arrowroot to fill him up, but not overtax his tum.

Re: Runny Bum
Thanks guys. Rockys is much better now, and back to his normal self, whatever that is???
He had 2 bouts of runny bum about 9 hours apart. We think the cause was a change in his diet too quickly. Will not try that again.
