It was noticed the other day that Buddys ears smelled "cheesey", so i had a wee look, and they do look a bittie dirty, but kinda like dried bloody dirty. I think me maybe catching himslef when he scratches. I saw that you can use warm olive oil or just water, so im going to have a wee clean later.

Anybody elses puppy get this? It maybe is just dirt, but just curious

Moo is forever suffering from ear infections so yes her ears do tend to get a build up. I have a cleaner from the vets, not too expensive that I use weekly on a lump of cotton wool to get rid of the filth.

My vet hadn't heard of using warm olive oil, although it had been a reccomendation here she advised against it. Xx

I'll maybe just go for a bit of warmish water on cotton wool to losen and clean it up a bit, get a better look to see if vets visit is required!

I have to use ear cleaner on Cairo. Not that she appreciates it lol.I no when her ears are due a clean as she starts shaking her head and having a scratch.I just give her a quick squirt of cleaner in each ear,an ear massage, she shakes her head and its all done.I give it an hour then wipe the insides of her ears.Remember never to poke deep inside the ears,it can cause damage as well as feeling uncomfortable.
