I didn't think raw meat was good for dogs either until i watched a training video and the trainer advised raw meats. She said that one of her dogs would scratch and nip at her own fur to the point of bald patches and infection and after many attempts at trying different types of foods she was advised by the vet to give raw meat, since then the dog has been fine and even one of her dogs that had cancer out lived her life expectancy by many years.

I'm not sure what Sapphire is being fed on at the moment, the breeder told me meat so it could mean anything, but if she is being fed tinned dog foods i will introduce raw food such as chicken wings to try and get her the best diet. I'm just not too sure of when to start doing it.

chicken legs and wings are fine, dont feed too much tripe, about once a week as it can make dogs fat. make sure everything is frozen first before you give them anything, this kills the germs, then defrost if you like.

raw food does not make them aggresive, but some dogs can be intollerant of some types of meat, so maybe introduce one type at a time

Partly, but it's also because she's not as 'strong' as you - mentally, not physically. You should supervise all interraction between them for a while & step in quickly if he starts to play bite. If necessary remove him gently from the scene & then ignore him till he's calm. It's a natural way for a pup to play, they just need to be taught that it isn't acceptable with humans.
