stella ill again

Not long ago i told you that my sister in law had a staffy.And that she had a lump removed that luckily turned out to be a cyst.Well poor stella is ill again this time she hasnt been able to keep food down and she has had severe diarehia she has had her to vets today and they have put her on antibiotics she has been told if the medicine doesnt clear it up then they will have to do blood test.Are staffys prone to illness when they are getting on in years.Stella is going on 11 years old.

I don't think they're any more prone to illness than any other breed. As the body ages it becomes more susceptible to bacterial infections etc.

Don't think they are prone to illness in old age. It's just a factor of a dog getting along in years.

A update on stella she is getting better with the antibiotics.No more runs or being sick now my sister in law is so happy.With stella being 10 years old she was worried that she wouldnt pull through
