Is my puppy a full Staffy?

Hi, I have recently picked up my Staffy puppy - Hugo.

After taking him for his first walk, a guy I met on the walk told me he could be an “Irish Staffy”

I really have no idea so thought I’d ask on here.

He’s 11 weeks old.

I can say there is no such breed as an Irish Staffy! Staffies come in different sizes, my girl is much taller than a KC staffy but is full staffy none the less!
He could possibly be staffy or am staff X either way he's lovely

Yep, no such breed as an 'Irish Staffy'.

He looks a big lad, but I would say quite likely a large Stafford. But very difficult to say, at that age, what they're going to look like in another year!

Did you see his mum?

I did see his mum and never suspected she mightn’t be a Staffy. She was a lovely, friendly girl.

His dad is a KC registered Staff stud dog.

In that case he's probably just going to be a big boy!

He looks like a big lad, but the camera angles might be deceptive.

I take it the mum isn't KC registered? If that's the case I'm surprised that the owners of the stud dog agreed to the mating.

Looking at the pics I'd say he's a Stafford & I agree with the above - no such breed as an Irish Staffy.
