Can anyone recommend a good lead for Ruby who pulls a lot & i have pulled a muscle in my arm twice

No lead will help with pulling - only training.

I would suggest a lead with clips on both ends, used on a Y shaped harness ; one clip on the back and the other to the front of the harness.
This, with a bit of training, will help to prevent her pulling so hard as you will be able to prevent her from ploughing forwards
