I was introduced to farming and hunting as a child which I continued throughout my life with selective breeding and training dogs for hunting and farm work.

I think its too late for the Pitbull with new laws about desexing, muzzles, and at least 6 foot high fences. It's a real shame because I know they are good dogs. I would like to do what I can to help make sure that doesn't happen to Staffy's too.

I'm a registered breeder of Staffordshire bull terriers with the kennel club.

I think it would be good to talk to other owners to share information and new ideas.
It's up to us to try to represent the Staffordshire Bull Terrier the best we can.

Yeah my username could be a hint. I'm from New Zealand.

Please don't be offended that I would rather not say my prefix here.
(That might sound like I'm trying to hide something and I am).

I want to make it clear that I'm here to help promote the breed. I'm not here to promote my kennel name.

But if verification is ever required I can show an admin proof that I do have a registered kennel and health checks done including DNA testing and eye testing for diseases.

I can share my knowledge and learn from other members here.
Conversations can also evolve and together we might come up with something that none of us has thought about.
