Read this too only recently - not sure what to think really other than this is the joy of todays 'news' - and for me it peeves me as someone else somewhere will probably try and use this type of article to once again try to besmirch our wonderful dogs....

Yes I heard this at the time. I don't think that's the case as he has come out and said he loves the Staffy breed. I thought it was apt as when Staffies won Britain's favourite Dog he was the one holding the staffy and not the lady who was presenting with him.

Another case of the press getting a headline at whatever cost.
