Drinking too quick.

Does anyone else have a problem with their dog gulping down his water then bringing it back a couple of minutes later? Mine does this about three times a week, never with food, just the water. The only way to stop him is to distract him with something so that he drinks in a couple of sessions instead of a bowl at a time. I'm not really worried as he's healthy and full of life, but it does seem a bit strange.

Oh it's not strange at all, my Flo does this on a weekly basis and same as you, the only way to stop her is to distract her

Katy does it too after a hot walk, I now make sure before we leave her water bowl only has enough for a refreshing drink while she cools down, then I will top it up

Yes Duke does it if he drinks from the hose pipe
