Anaesthetic Empty Anaesthetic

Post by moussepig Thu Jun 23 2016, 13:55

Hey Guys

My molly is almost ten and this week has developed a sickness and pooping issue, this has resulted in her pooping blood. The vet has done some xrays but has decided that he needs to look inside to see if there is anything else. i am sooo scared about her being poorly and having anaesthetic at her age - Have any of you had any experience of it before I convince myself that shes not strong enough to come back to me!

Thanks

Kate

Hi Kate,

So Sorry to hear about Molly. I dont have any experience but would just say Im sure the vet wouldn't put her under unless they thought she was strong enough.

Plus at least you will know for sure what is wrong with her and then that can be treated.

Good Luck- do let us know how she gets on x

Sorry to read that Molly is unwell Kate. I'd go along with what Emna says above, the vets won't put her under unless she is fit enough. I guess you've got think what's best for Molly really, blood in stools isn't good at all and if it's something that can be sorted sooner rather than later the longer Molly will have a happy life Smile

Do let us know how she gets on.
