Surprised Lesson learnt

Post by Jenc Sun May 17 2015, 20:06

At agility the other night we had to run quite a hard route, Mary our instructor always breaks it down into smaller bits. However I was having real trouble getting Katy to come out of the tunnel & turn onto a jump as it was quite tight & she was at full speed Rolling Eyes Mary came up with the bright idea (NOT) of standing on the far wing of the jump to block Katy so she would turn Surprised  She only runs 2 staffies & we are in the same class. Needless to say Katy didn't turn & slammed her head into Mary's knee at full speed Crying or Very sad Katy didn't even slow down  Laughing   Still not learning her lesson she was later clouted by Whiskey in the shin Laughing When it was time to run the full route we asked Mary where she would be standing, her reply was out the bloody way!!!!! Lesson Learnt I think Laughing Laughing

Your telling me, Katy clouted me in the thigh the other day with her dew claw the bruise is coming through now. But it could be a good idea for a comp not that anyone would want to see my bruised legs Laughing

They have seriously hard heads and I've a lump on my shin to prove it. Today Bo was carrying his ball along the prom when he met a couple of other dogs, a little bigger than him. He dropped his ball accidentally and it went through the legs of the first dog. Bo followed it like a bull, straight underneath the first dog, lifting it off its feet like it was made of balsa wood. He didn't even slow down, just got his ball and carried on.

Haha. Nothing worse than getting wiped out by a Stafford.
Years ago our old boy Floyd was going nuts in the snow. I'm trying to keep warm with my hands in my jacket pockets. He ran into me and took me clean off my feet and I landed with my arm across my chest leaving me with two broken ribs! Trying to catch him whilst in agony was no fun at all but Floyd thought it was hilarious.
