Random things that Staffies do

Zeus does some really random things at times and I just wanted to know everyone's opinions.. are these Staffy traits or just what Zeus does?

1) Quite often on a walk, he'll come across a smell on the floor which will make him almost grind and bite his teeth together constantly and drool an insane amount! I can never figure out what he smells.. and why it makes him drool so much!

2) After a walk, he'll come into the living room and completely spaz out for 5 minutes.. running around the room like a maniac, falling on his back and kicking himself off the sofas and just going insane.. maybe letting off some steam?

3) When I take him to a park, he'll go to the most random of places, spin on his back and just rub his whole body all over.. marking his territory maybe?

4) This ALWAYS happens and can get frustrating at times (especially at night when I'm sleepy).. when I take him out in the back garden to have a wee or poo.. he'll circle the garden atleast 10 times before finding the right spot to do the business..

All sounds familiar to me.
1 Sounds like grimacing to test for things like females in season
2 Sounds like the bonkers time, Stanley still does now and then with mad grin on his face and then calms down. He's happy.
3 Wriggling to put a scent on his back to hide his own, it's hunting thing. Don't forget their senses are much stronger than ours, especially their sense of smell.
4 Maybe this helps his bowel movements. They give you that look of Go and do something will you I'm busy.

1 No idea (They are funny creatures)
2 Flo does this sometimes so not so unusual
3 I know some Dogs like to roll in Foxes stuff so this could be similar
4 Flo does this wherever we are, park or garden and it does get very boring

Although I think it's a dog thing rather than a Stafford thing.
Our old boy Floyd would sprint at you and then throw himself to the ground to roll on his back, sometimes he would just roll over straight back on to his feet then sprint off again!
You'll find yourself wondering if they're wired up properly.

Mia often does random daft things she will be asleep 1 min thenget up and have a roll and scratch her back. When its raining she comes back in the house and runs daft for 20 minutes.

1-no idea
2- peppa does it after her bath
3+4- very familiar

Yep all sounds normal to me!

2: I love it when they go crazy! Running in circles, jumping on the sofa, diving in his toy box!
3: i just thought he loved rolling in the grass
4: Sheara hides behind bushes and the shed so i cant see him poop, i think he gets embarassed!
