It's sunday night, im wide awake, alone with my thoughts, bored, thinking to much. Like us all on here im a staffy lover. Couldnt be without my little mate. So, im sitting here thinking, what would i do without kenny!!. It frightens me to death. He's more than a dog, he's more than a pet, he's my family. I even ( very selfishly) thought, " stud him out and buy all the puppys", have loads of mini kens. What the hell am i thinking!!!! (Dont worry, I'm not going to do that).
Then i start thinking about all the other unloved staffys in the world, i want to cry, i want to win the lottery, not 4 me, but to build a staffy home, a forever home. Why are there so many breeders out there. I posted a pic of kenny on fb earlyier, 1 girl said " let me know if you want to breed him".i just said, "i'll let u know". I was afraid to say more because id end up have a rant and going totally ott. Why, so she can make money, give no thought to where this little ones end up. I strongly belive that all dog owners should have to pay for a licence and spot checks, maybe breeders would think twice breeding. Im not saying all breeders are bad. Im going now, or i'll go on and on

awww if i want lotto i would start campiagn for to get rid of the human right act and to bring back national service.

i'm not going get in huge debate about dog licence debate again but that not the answer to a dog problem, goverments to get people to respect thing again.

yes, your proberly right steve. There has to be a way. People can be so stupid. It's not just animals being dumped, theres cruelty too. I totally agree with national service. It would instill respect into generations who just dont have any. Theres good people in the world, but sadley more bad ones

Thats just what I would do to. i would also set up some kind of school for Staffys and have people there to learn how to look after a dog, how to care for them and understand them.

Here here Kelly! I too have had those thoughts. I have soo much love for the breed I could burst! I would love to be able to have my own kennels so I could rescue and help those in need..xx

Me too, but the only way i could do this is by winning the lotto. xx

It's so horrible thinking about it i never realised how bad it was untill went to battersea for the first time. I wish people woud stop breeding and give rescue dogs a chance x
