I can't help but giggle Maybe he will think twice before he speaks in the future after the mouth full he got from the OH! He was fuming!

I had a bit of that recently, a woman went wide of us looking terrified, turned out a tan Greyhound had ragged her Yorkie type dog as it passed even though on the lead. Nothing to do with us two at all. Another neighbour said my last Staffy Holly looked ferocious. I bit that and walked back to her and said "In what way does she look ferocious? She felt a fool then and said "I don't know". I don't speak to them now. Even her husband thought she was being an anus. As for Holly she was the softest thing going and even had a pup named after her because she made such an impact on people. She loved to climb up this disabled man's body (wheelchair) and sit on his head like a hat and he loved it. They named their new pup Holly. Her nickname was Mrs Waggytail.

Hmmm.. I've had this too. If people actually saw them for the big softies that just want to cuddle up to you then they might stop believing the press "Bull type" stories.

Having said that, when Flo has her Deaf vest on all she gets is Awww's. You couldn't make it up really.

i always get an aww with mia and what shes like with children. mia doesnt lke dogs same height or bigger but thats no fault of mine (i never got mia till she was 3) i had to socialise her with smaller dogs i did try for over a year with all different types of bigger dogs she just prefers small dogs and cats. i had read up on staffys but basically took mia on blind and oblivious lol.

get used to it mate, had one guy (obv city bloke) with his tiny pooch say to his wife, they are wolves and quickly picked his dogs up...cmon they are tiny compared to wolves and like i would just take a couple of wolves for a walk.. next best was an old deer that had been petting them for at least five mins and asks what they are...at which she pulls her arm away saying they are dangerouse arnt they. freaking div...

It's their minds that frighten them more than anything.
