my girlie

we went shopping yesterday and took a break playing ball in a little park there was a 4year old girl who couldnt take her eyes of us and asked if she can come and stroke peppa i said she is playing but ask your big sis that was with her if you can come play with us so the two girls and they friend came and we all play football with pups they loved her which is not surprising but what made me proud was how gentle pups was with the little one waiting patiently for her to pick up and throw the ball shes always good with kids and very protective even on kids she just met.
on the way out of the tube there were two drunk guys having a mock fight behind us pups turned back and bark and told them off she wouldnt stop till they apologized to her and told her(!) were sorry we actually like each other..
she does it with me but thats the first time she did it with complete strangers.

Staffs are amazing Lily. They are known as the nanny dog for the reasons you mention above

As for the jokers on the tube, my Flo wil do exactly that if I play fight with my boys, She will get in between us and tell us all off, it's wonderfull to see really. I know of no other breed that are like this

Theia has very little experience with kids, today our nephew got himself a little upset and was crying face down on the couch. Theia was straight over to him and was being so gentle it was amazing to see!

I am always amazed at how dogs know when they are dealing with chlildren and show so much gentleness with them, Rocky is always great with children and the worst he would do is to knock them over

Last summer a woman near us was cleaning out her car and had left her baby in her car seat on the pavement a few feet away. Bo became really stressed out, puffing his cheeks out, and he didn't want to leave. He was worried that the kid was there alone and he was checking out the area for danger. I had to carry him away in the end, he would have stayed on guard duty all day.

This does sound very typical of such a very caring breed of dog we all have the pleasure of knowing.

Aww good girl Peppa! I love the way they are with kids. We don't have any but Axl is always good with my friend's four year old little boy. Axl walks around and if the four year old want's to get past he'll push Axl out the way and Axl just lets him lol. It's quite funny to watch.

He'll also put himself in between me and my boyfriend if we are messing about and my boyfriend tickles me lol, he pushes him away from me!

Peppa does the same but if I get a kiss shell join in and seperate with her head!
