Poppies

Has anyone notice huge poppies in strange places ?

Saw these ones near the war memorial outside the village library & there are more on lampposts in a nearby area too Big Grin

Went through a neighbouring village tonight and saw these around the ponds which are right by a really busy road. Has nobody else seen the large poppies anywhere ???

None here, I have wondered if it maybe some fight the village had to deal win way back when. It maybe be used of a reminder.

What ever or who ever it has been done with love, maybe they have lot a present d day here and it is a public way of the family know the village is then
