Anyone for chicken.

Hello folks , on and off for a couple of years I being thinking about having a small flock of chickens in my back garden . I've researched and educated myself on how to care for chickens but I'm a little bit apprehensive on how Max will react. Do any of you lot out there keep chickens ? And do they live in harmony with your Stafford ? I realise each individual dog has their own temperament . But is there anyone out there who could advise me please. ( I've just got visions of his lordship helping himself to the odd living drumstick )   

I used to have Chickens and they lived in an area of our walled in
vegetable garden.  Had a dog and a bitch at the time and they went
with my Husband to feed the Chickens every day.

The bitch was the most laid back, calm friendly staffie you could ever
hope to meet.  One day OH left the gate to the Veg Garden open and
she popped in and killed the lot   

i would love chicken by our by law or whatever it call say we cant lmao i dont know how they would find out anyway but has long you only have females you should be fine i would think

Debo is scared of any small animals. We used to had rats he was really delicate with them. And one time we tried to rescue wild bird and Debo was really scared of it.

Rupert has no interest in any birds, except for cockerels - which he wants to kill and eat.

I would advise to have them securely penned in! My parents Staff doesn't bother with theirs but he has grown up with them from a pup...since visiting a few times Bane has managed to kill 3 escapees :/
