can i boil chicken

When i have milly spayed next month.Im wanting to feed her chicken and rice for a few days after the op.I was just Wanting to know if i can boil the chicken for her.As it would be lighter on her stomach

I give mine cooked chicken and rice when she is ill

Along as there are no bones in it, it will be fine

Yep but no bones, and then cook the rice in the chicken water its even better for them.

Thanks for all the replys she will be having chicken breast and boiled rice.I will boil the rice in the chicken water it wont be as bland then thanks for that tip.She wont want to go back to her normal diet.saying that i feed the 3 of them chicken at least twice a week

Thats what we gave our Tara when she was spayed As far as I remember (our first Staffie) we also gave her scrambled egg

She really milked the attention though hehe. We'd give her water from our cupped hands as she didn't seem to be drinking!

What date is Milly due to be spayed? I really need to ring up to book Tinkerbell in, as she finished her season a few weeks ago now! Chicken and rice sounds a fab idea after a spay, we used to feed our welsh sheepdog chicken and rice when he had an upset belly for a few days!

Milly is going in to be spayed next month the 8th oct im realy dreading it.Im going to be worried sick all that day.But i know shes in good hands

Ive just tried milly with some raw meat she spat it back out.It was just a small piece of fresh turkey so ive put it in the oven for them seems my little milly doesnt like raw sad realy she would get more goodness out of it raw
