can your dog(s) tell if you mad, upset or whatever?

I don't get mad much but yes I guess so!

Definitely. IF I'm upset or just low in energy even they stick close by, if I'm angry they're extra, extra cuddly and give extra kisses

I'm sure Biscuit does! If I'm upset briefly she will give me kisses and crawl up onto my lap for close up cuddles! If i'm having a bad few days and the mood changes in the house her behavioural problems get worse, and she becomes very stressed. I try and keep things at a level for her all of the time, but of course, I'm only human!! I also don't get very mad often, but if i'm grump/irritable she hangs around me looking for reassurance (and usually ends up tripping me up and making me more grumpy!)

If I end up yelling at the kids (most mornings) Alfie comes and sits in front of me wagging his tail as if to say "I'm being good mum!" I always reassure him he is.

Rocky definitely knows when either me or hubby are in pain or feeling upset, he will not leave our side then.

Yes! When I was crying after seen program about owner decided to put his dog to sleep because lots of pain. Zeus was wagging his tale and kissing me a lot. Also he always comes to my side hiding from my hubby when hubby is in bad mood!

most definitely,if i shout at my son she hates it and will do her best to get my attention to calm me down,if im upset she'll give me cuddles and kisses,they pick up so much on our emotions .
