In Darcy's crate we put a teddy bear a ticking clock and a pair of my pj bottom she took to it great xx

Hes wanting to be with me to settle down and sleep, hes knackered, ive put my scarf and cwrdigan I was wearing today in there

I would sleep downstairs in the same room with him for two or three nights. This will help him and yourself, knowing that your'e both there for each other. He's gorgeous Freya. xx

I think he needed the swaddling thing, because hes not woken since, yeah im gonna be up and down all night but I cant sleep on the couch as I have back issues, im not sure how im gonna do it....

Cute lil baby yes busy times ahead but so well worth it xx

Gorgeous boy. How was his first night in the end?

Well I slept downstairs out of sight, and I had to keep taking him off the pen walls. Everything he went near I put him back on his bed, he then stayed there all.night until 5 am so not too bad, he's had a sleep for an hour but he's awake again now, not sure whether I should stay down here again or try sleeping upstairs.

Aww he's gorgeous, a lot of hard work ahead for you Freya but he is well worth it   

Yeah I'm just reading up on how to stop biting, my boys getting a bit upset that. The puppy is biting him,we are all home this weekend so gonna really try things with him, he's 85 weeks so still so young

Mucho cutness bless him. you will have a roller coaster of emotions over the next few weeks, stay strong and savour every one of them. in a few years time when he is snuggled up to you snoring his head off youll look at the pics and kid yourself it wasnt that hard lol. i swore id never get a puppy again then i did when my eldest was still a pup... dimwit... now at nearly three and two years old i wouldnt change nothing for the world.

I really wanna make sure my son creates a bond with him, he's feeling a bit grumpy because Loki keeps biting him, they wind each other up

Toys... Replace said hand/arm/leg with a toy each time.

It will take time and patience and as long as you all do the same thing, it will work.

My son is only 4 so he's been telling him no when he bites, gonna get him some more.toys tomorrow!! He's only got one

Awww... You will end up with loads I'm sure. Got to admit, I'm ever so slightly jealous   

dont worry once teathing is out the way and those shark teath fall out its plain sailing. im down a sofa, lots of pot plants and i looked like a self harmer. use a keyword for not using the mouth. i simply used "teath" and walked out the room they soon learn fun stops when you do that. it still works today when they get a bit excited and mouth me.

Aww he is so cute   

Yeah not too bad,hes been really good on the no biting front not as much as yesterday and not being so persistent hes still very clingy to me, hes downstairs in his pen (which makes me feel awful) really doesnt like bein on his own, he will sleep in his bed with the pen doors open, but as soon as u shut them...he wakes up starts crying, ive tried to make it more comfy in there but he just doesnt like it.

He will get used to it and settle Freya. Did you leave an item of clothing that you have worn with him, that often helps.

I know it's heartbreaking and hard to ignore, but he will be ok   

Yeah he has a wooly jumper of mine. He wouldnt sleep on it at all at first, but he seemed to sleep on the futon becayse id been on it, so I was lying on his bed earlier to get my scent on it.

Earlier he was being very very persistent about being on my lap, I had to get up and go into the kitchen, he followed me and stood there while I made dinner.

They are very very social. My Flo shadows me often but other times is quiet happy to be in her own space. Your his new Mum so it's really up to you how much you want him on your lap etc. now is the time to start that training, however, it will take time   

Must be nice to have such a small one cuddle up to you though, my Flo just kinda lands on me   

O my, he's absolutely gorgeous

Yeah hes very very lap doggy he tries to sit on everyone me the most....it is lovely tho as ive been so tired with both my son and doggie up and down I had a nap earlier on a futon in the front room and when I woke he was lying next to me, mostly I just worry abput noise with the neighbours
