URGENT Tyson needs a new home/foster home

Tyson is 8 years of age and is in urgent need of a new home or a foster home. He is currently in Manchester. His current owner is being evicted from his property on 2/1/2012. I have been in contact with rescues but unfortunately, there is no place for him.

Tyson would benefit from some basic obedience training. He currently lives with another dog, who he gets on great with.

His current owner has small children and Tyson is fine with them, however, he still mouths. With training this can easily be fixed.

Tyson does pull on the lead but again, with training, should be able to fix this.

Tyson would benefit from an experienced dog owner.

Can anyone offer Tyson the loving and caring home he deserves?

Thank you so much. If we cant get him into a rescue or rehome by Monday, then I will have to foster him regardless if he gets on with my dogs and cat. I can't just leave him at the house with no one living there

What about the Cinnamon Trust or Pet Fostering Service Scotland? They help with homeless cases.

I would love to help but I have no way of getting there, I wa looking for another dog.

If you are really serious and can organise something between your local Staffy rescue and the Manchester one (Bolton) I would gladly put myself up as a driver to get him down there (I live within an hour of Manchester and have an office at Luton so it almost works for me. I honestly don't know how such situations work out like this as he is not currently in rescue but here are the contact details for the Bolton rescue , maybe you could call Barbarah and have a chat see if she can help

Good luck and let me know, I would love to take on an older dog myself but my OH won't entertain the idea because of the short lived pleasure to go through all the grief, she still gets upset at old photos of our Border Collie X we got when he was 7 and lost when he was 12 and that was nearly 3 years ago. Hopefully we will get Tilly a playmate in time though
