Advice needed!!! Empty Advice needed!!!

Post by Nats81 Wed Jan 08 2014, 15:42

I need some advice over bella please-

We alway take her on walks with bronson and she's really good on the lead etc BUT she doesn't seem to like other dogs. She is the tiniest little thing and I'm just worried that she will grow up to be snappy with other dogs.
She barks like mad at them and has even gone to go for one. She is only 13 weeks old... Will she grow out of it when she gets bigger?? Could it just be "little dog syndrome" Sad Sad Sad
I never had that with bronson he's always been really good with other dogs

AND she's started goin bold we've had her to vet and they've done a skin scraping and everything was normal but seems to be gettin worse!!!
Is there anything we can do to help this??? Eg shampoos etc
Has anyone else had this problem??

Please help!!!

I don't think you need to worry too much just correct her, believe me any older dog will soon put her in her place. She is no doubt testing.
The baldness is difficult if scrapes were ok. Could be dietry what do you feed?
I use a shampoo from vets called Malaseb, but some oils on her food or coconut oil if she is scratching  Big Grin

I use salmon oil for Darcy's coat, and wagg really isn't a very good quality food it's full of additives. So that could be the reason. As for the barking at other dogs she's too young to show aggression so just keep what your doing Smile

It could be the Wagg as far as I know its not a good food. You could try some Salmon oil or cod liver omega 3and 6 also. I use both and a Viacutan plus which is high in GLA I get it from Amazon.

This list of foods may help xx

There are some very good quality foods on the list below, I can recommend Barking Heads as this is what Rocky has. I would also add James Welbeloved to the list along with Wainwrights from Pets At Home:
