poor dog,irresponsible owner

our neighbor knocked the door a minute ago and asked if sash was in,course she was in,where would she be,he went on to say that a little brindle staff had just been knocked over by a van and had ran off yelping,they had tried to get it but could'nt.well we got our shoes on and went looking for it but could'nt find it,asked a group of kids if they had seen it,they had'nt either,so a possibly injured staff is now out in the dark and cold,some people just should'nt own a dog,i so hope it goes home even if it is to a very irresponsible owner  

That's so sad! I hope someone finds the poor little mite

I Dont think you can just call the owners irresponsible as you dont know the full story. the dog might of got out and the owners might of been looking for it...

Poor little dog, I hope she or he is OK, and well done Stella for trying to find it - I'm sure we would all do the same.

But please don't automatically assume that the owner was irresponsible as that might not necessarily be the case. I've had my own little Houdini escape a couple of times myself - the worst times of my life - and I don't consider myself as irresponsible.

i know these things happen,i was just worried about it being injured and in pain just hope it got home and not out in the cold all night
