Roxy first visit to the Beach

Well, I took Roxy to the beach for the first time today.
She loved sniffing in the sand, but was not too keen when we got near the water.....hmmmmm she's not a water-lover

Anyway, I took a few photos as promised for those who are interested. Not great, but oh well

Wow Roxy is lovely, pleased to hear you had a good time, and hey the water thing there's loads of time, Moo hated it at first too.

The only thing bothering me is the last pic!!!!!!! Did you really have to add that one in!!! Not jelous, not jelous, not jelous

Great pictures Roxy looks like she is having fun she is gorgeous no need for the last pic lol

great photos.. she is lovely and shiney.....in time she may become a water baby.
I personally don't like the water but my hubby Tony does... he was always encouraging Jethro to go in the water..... now Jethro is the first one in !!

OOPS, sorry everybody but the weather was so lovely I just had to share

I can't remember the name of the beach but it is what I know as the "dog and horse beach"
People drive along the beach in theire 4WD's for a spot of fishing, take dogs for a walk/swim and also people take their horses down for a swim/excersize too.

Personally if we wanted to go swimming we would go elsewhere. We are VERY lucky to have such lovely beaches

hey Lisa have you ever been to Esperance?? Went last December. I reckon the beaches there are fantastic!

Jethro had a ball there.

Jethro even did some fishing!!

had to put him on a long rope.. he was obsessed with the fish being caught!! ( salmon )

hey anytime you guys from overseas come over on holidays you are more than welcome to come and visit me and have a cup of tea!!..and if Jethro is still alive and kicking meet him as well!!
I am actually jealous of you guys because you get lots of rain..we get hardly any, and all your photos always show lovely green grass!! ( not dead yellow stuff that we have here! )

In summer our grass seems to "crunch" when you walk on it, it's that dry........and water restrictions are put in place to TRY and reduce water usage due to extremely low levels in the dams.
But YES....our beaches are lovely Hopefully in time Roxy will become a bit more fond of the water

Was talking about my aim is to be able to take Blue to southport beach of lead next year. Not the same as your beach's but still would love it. The beach looks so much fun with a dog

Great pics would love to be there now so jealous of you both. The water on our beach (The Mersey) Is like a minging brown colour its horrible compaired to the nice blue ones you have. I am no longer a fan of living in England thank you!

Blue southport beach is nice in summer cleaner than most lol

great pics... water is a great colour.
Holly hated the water 2 the first few times.. ( still hates the bath) but man does she love it now...
she flyies thru the lake chasing other dogs and plays for ages.. it is great fun for her....
I found if it had waves or ripples it was a no go zone.. still water was great tho
