Just had a twonk who was an advocate and then someone from the kennel club who was opposed.

Made me SO angry. The man seemed like he has been using the collar on himself, his brains were totally scrambled!!!

The assman was saying research done by the bristol uni said that in cases of dogs who chase cars or leave their property, the collar had them trained very fast. the KC said that the research also showed that dogs yelped and felt pain and distress when the collars were used. The man said she was sitting there lying (it took him about 10 mins...he has just an awful drawl)

he just seemed totally heartless and horrible and a terrible advocate for shock collars, which is good!

I bet he's never had one put round his own neck & had somebody else press the button unexpectedly!
