Had a quick question about meat when it came to my pup.

Picking her up this week and have all my puppy food and etc sorted, My only question is about roast chicken. Due to my job i end up with alot of roast chicken for my staffy and was wondering when is it ok to let the pup have some?

As far as i know it should be fine mixing some up with her evening meal but just want to check that there is no major no no's that im missing out on.

Little bit of added info. all chicken is cooled down and no bones are given to either dog. Just pure meat.

I add a little chicken to darcy's Kibble from time to time, also a raw egg every couple of days or sardines in tomato sauce Smile

A little added to the food should be fine, we add some to Rocky kibble too.

Try to avoid the skin if you can as there is quite a bit of fat there, just the lean meat is fine though.

A small amount is ok as long as there are no bones whatsoever. It also depends how the bird is roasted?

Chicken is cooked on a spit and its only lean meat that is given to the dogs as chicken bones easily splinter.

I work in a restaurant and any chicken that is going to be binned i will happily cool down and take home for the dogs or sandwiches.

A little bit once and a while shouldn't hurt. Does it have any spices or anything on it or is it marinated in anything before it's cooked?
