chicken for puppy Empty chicken for puppy

I wanna head to the shop and get the pup abit of chicken for a treat today,as he always only gets dog food.

Is that ok? it will prob be like a packet of chicken already sliced and preperd in packaging

I can't see that it would do any harm really if given in small quantities not very often. Just make sure you don't give it all the time as your pup may start to go off its normal puppy food!

Don't get the sliced, processed stuff; it's full of added salt & preservatives. If you want to get him something, get a chicken drumstick (thigh) and let him gnaw on it!

Agree with Caryll, chicken wings or chicken drumsticks are great Big Grin (raw, not cooked, of course).

Chicken necks are usually a puppy favourite as they are quite pliable and meaty!
