Long Time Staffi owner, saying Hellooo.

Hi everyone.
I posted a couple of pictures yesterday "Staffi's old and new" in your gallery, so thought I should introduce myself.
Staffi's came into our lives just under 24 years ago in the shape of "Pickles" a rescue dog. Staffi x Boarder collie.
We loved the temperament and personality so when he died, we took in a Staffi rescue, in Poole. Buster (Ribs) originally but he was much more a Buster. We bought a brindle bitch as a companion and called her after the a character in our daughter favourite film Belle.
Buster was very very vocal and I taught him to say "Hello" much to everyone amusement. Friends of the daughter used to ask him to talk to them. He also liked being tickled, where he would make a load laughing sound with great gasps of air between clenched teeth.  
Belle died of cancer at 10 years and we lost Buster a year ago last December and decided NO MORE DOGS.
Too much of a tie. We could have a few more holidays abroad
But we missed the "Helloooo" in the morning as you came down stairs and the lump or two jockeying for position on your lap while you watched TV.
Then I saw a picture of a Blue Staffii....Well we lasted 5 months with no dog.

He will stand in front of our real flame fire admiring his reflection for ages. he knows it him as if you wave behind him he will look round at you.
If a camera comes out he poses.

There is a professor doing a study into whether animals can laugh. I sent a couple of video's of Buster being tickled (round and round the garden on his belly) to her. One was used on ABC News and Good Morning America when she was interviewed !

We were stopped a few months ago walking through a local town, "Devizes" by a chap admiring Max.
He said that he was absolutely stunning and had I considered breeding from him. He checked I had his pedigree (Which I do, lots of champions on it ). He told me his brother writes the "Annual" which is evidently the definitive stud / breed book for Staffi's  He was saying that he hadn't seen such a stunning dog for a long time.
I thanked him but felt I had to point out that he is a pet and had just been castrated...
Oh the look of horror
