Bras and Nory, new members from australia

hey! i've been reading these forums the past few weeks, thought i may as well become a member and join the staffy lover community! my name is bras, and i recently adopted a 2 year old rescued male staffy named Nory. he is such a sweet boy! we've been together for about 3 weeks now, he is so clever, learns so quickly! so far we have learned to always sit and wait till i say okay to eat food sitting in front of him, no more INTENSE pulling on walks, sit and wait/no jumping or snapping when playing stick fetch(his favourite thing in the world ever) and 'get your stick!' and 'where is it!' he always finds it(even if its stuck in a tree..), he knows what 'out of the kitchen!' and 'stick outside!' means but i have to say it every time... today we tried to learn how to high five but he is way too patient and just waits and waits for the treat in my hand like a 'good boy'... we'll work on that though. little nory has had a pretty rough past, but he has so much love and affection to give! he has very sensitive skin/eczema but i've been whipping up oat/bicarb/rosemary shampoo and putting flax oil in his food and it's cleared up a lot since he got here. i feel like his anxiety is decreasing heaps as we continue to bond and love one another. feeling pretty blessed to have this boy in my life!
