Hiya And welcome to the forum. You just need to persist with the lead training. My boy was exactly the same until he cottonec on to the fact that wearing the lead meant that he got to go outside and meet people and dogs and enjoy all the lovely new smells. He'll get there, it's just all new to him at the moment.

Hello and welcome.
Our pup is 14 weeks old and reacted like this too. We put the lead on in the house and then just left him to drag it around then when he got used to it picked it up and progressed like that. Now he associates his lead with fun stuff and goes mad when we get it out. Enjoy your new pup and good luck.

Hello you two! My sidney was jut like this! I tried every method I could find,he hated having the lead on in the house and would just lye down, tried enticing him with food but would still just freeze! Tried just waiting for him to start walking with me but would just sit there for half an hour,so I took him to my freinds house so I could take him out with his dog who is super excited on the lead, and sid just followed along!! From that moment on he was fine!!
