Smile Puppy walks and play times

Post by Kazzy&honey Wed Apr 24 2013, 18:35

I've met some lovely people since I've had my Honey. My puppy/dog walks and puppy playtimes are gradually starting to happen. I'm meeting an English bulldog on Monday. There is a staffie x husky that we have met and hope to see soon. I'm going to put it again in the newspapers and advertise more. But some of the owners out there are great to talk to. I seem to talk to more people now than I ever used to going anywhere. I'm so glad I have my Honey.

Great news and you are really putting the effort in which is good to see. It will make things so much easier for you as she gets older.

I so love having her. And for me I want to show everyone that they are such a lovely dog and it's the owners that make them the way they are.
I love all the compliments I get for her. They all want to meet her bless her. I'm thinking of setting a website up and sort some cards out to give to people, as some are keen to socialise their dogs but are not sure how to.

It's lovely to hear a proud owner Smile

You should invite them on here, we arent' breed specific really, as long as you love Staffy's or Bully breeds in general. There is always someone one here that can help with whatever problem they might have Smile

I will def do that Mat. The website I was thinking of was just for the walks so if ok with everyone if I get it up and running I could put a link to this site for everything else. I love this site. I'm so glad to be chatting to people who feel like me about staffies

Facebook is incredibly useful for things like that. If you use it, there is most likely a page dedicated to your town that would share your page and more people would see it. The page from my town always shares useful stuff.

I'd definitely start up a Facebook page for your walks too, it's been very useful with ours, we have 150 members (they don't all come at once Laughing). Also...you must take some pics for those of us whose dogs don't get to play often Big Grin especially the Staff x Husky, they're gorgeous.

Wow Tara that's wonderful. Unfortunately I'm very wary of Facebook. I used to be on it but due to personal circumstances and some very bad experiences I had to delete the account and have not been on for two years now. Any other suggestions would be great tho. I've been able to put it in the local paper and a piece in there of down your way.

I will definitely take pics. The staffie x husky is gorgeous. Her eyes are beautiful. She is a rescue dog. People didn't want her because of her eyes bless her. Now she has a very happy home. And she doesn't live far from me either.
