I've sent off for an application pack from 'pets as therapy' for Tank.

I'm confident he will pass the assessment - and hope he will be accepted as a therapy dog.

He's so nice natured, around ppl of all ages, and other dogs.

I'm sure Tank will make an excellent PAT dog, this is something we have been considering doing with Rocky, he just needs to calm down a bit more first

Jackie, do you feed raw?

Some countries are not accepting raw fed dogs as PAT dogs because of the risk of salmonella & other bacteria passing on to the patients. I don't know what they feel about it in the UK.

Yea, he's raw fed.

Couldn't see anything about feeding on the website about raw... Will have to see when the paperwork comes thru.

The UK might be ok with it - I know I read somewhere that in the USA & parts of Europe they're refusing to register raw fed dogs.
