I hate being ill.....

So I felt rough at work on Tuesday, ached, cough you now the feeling. Got sent home early.

Had to take yesterday off work cause I all my body wanted to do was sleep and sweet a little (nice!) Woke up this morning and still feel rough, had a shower and thought ok feel a bit better been house bound for nearly 2 days and really fancied some fresh air, so made my bed and nearly fell over with dizziness. So it will be another day stuck indoors.

Thank god for mum who has been walking Moo for me Sad

I bloody hate being ill its rubbish.

Nothing worse than being sick Janey, especially when you have to work. Plenty of rest and extra calories is what normally helps me through it.

Try to keep you blood sugar levels up if you can, do you have any boiled sweets in the house, just keep having them every so often. Have you made an appointment to see the doctor ??

Thanks, and no Kathy hate the doctors I'll be ok tomorrow, so pleased it has fallen on my days off so I haven't had to take any holiday, well just the one day. Would a pint help, if I put blackcurrent in it thats sweet Big Grin

Nothing like a good hot toddy! I had one a while back when I felt a sore throat coming on. The OH got sick and went on antibiotics and weeeeks later is still coughing - he should've listened!

Janey - it's great you have help with Moo, but don't push yourself tomorrow, you need to recover from whatever virus you contracted. I live quite near you and the weather is VILE hereabouts, please don't go out into it until you're entirely well or you'll set yourself back.

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better Janey, and I understand the housebound "stir-crazy" feeling.

this is the "mummy" side of me talking but IF you feel you MUST take Moo out tomorrow (and I do appreciate the demands of dogs), just make it a short walk so you can get back home quickly if you get dizzy or weak feeling.

I just hope that you DO feel stronger tomorrow and that the weather is not as punishing as as it has been today.

Still feeling rubbish today, I did take Moo out for a bit so I am hoping it will brush a few cobwebs away. Supposed to be out for a friends birthday later but thats a no no, me not going to the pub........I must be ill Laughing
