Advice please

Hi guys, my staffy is very vocal & jumps up at us at our meal times have u any advice as to help keep her calm & to stop this behaviour many Thxs in advance.

Have you tried feeding her the same time as you have your dinner. A stuffed Kong may well keep her occupied while you are eating your dinner.

Could you put up a baby gate? Suki was like that at that age as well but eventually grew out of it.

My 2 go in their cadges when we eat and when I get the plates out they automatically go there now

Good advice above. If she has already been fed and/or has a Kong stuffed with treats and STILL bothers you at meal times, then she is not hungry. Maybe greedy! Or more likely she is missing your attention whilst your family try to eat their dinner, in which case give her a distraction (like the stuffed Kong, or a chewy). She will more than likely grow out of this phase.

We keep Tommy behind the safety gate if we are eating in the from room in front of the TV, if we are sat at the table then we persevere with a good firm no , he is getting there
