Anti Tick drops = Hairloss

I got this drop on tick stuff that keeps the biters at bay. All the pups from Romeo's litter have used them and had no bad reactions.... i use them about half an hour ago... and Romeo's hair starts to fall!!!!
In tiny tuffs. He's not bald, but it was a touch alarming that i took him to the shower and rinsed it down a little. heaven forbid he gets patchy at the start of show season
Has any one else had a reaction like this?

Never. I usually use Frontline Plus which is flea and tick topical treatment and have never had anything like what you are experiencing. It could be that he is very sensitive to one of the ingredients or plain allergic.

Kodi's allergic to stronghold and got a bald patch ive not tried frontline yet on him but use it on Maz with no problems

I won't use the stuff unless there's a problem. I hate using chemicals that aren't necessary. Ticks aren't a problem in this area so I don't need to worry, and I've never seen a flea on Dempsey.

I only use it before our hols in Yorkshire & then again when we come back - just in case!

ah we have ticks here....everywhere, and 1 in 8 carries Lyme disease... :S
