Hey Guys
Maxxie has an ear infection from rolling in another dogs poop doh
Anyways i took him to the vets and she gave us some very expensive ear drops lol
He was in alot of pain with it and his ear thats infected has dropped abit and hes been scratching it constantly and has gotten sores behind his ear from it.
The Vet said so use a damp cloth and wipe around the top of his ear then put the ear drops in and massage it into his ear.
The first few times he was ok with it. but it did hurt him.
And now when i get the drops out he goes mad and gets really anxious.
He has just found his big boy voice lol Ive just tryed to do it now and he growled and barked at me lol
Ive try bribing with his fav treats
I tell him sit, i put the treat on the floor tell him to wait for it. and while his looking at the treat i try sneek a few drops in his ear. but hes to smart lol
He sees that bottle he wont sit for the treat he just jumps around.

Any Advice on how i can get some drops in his ear he desperatly need some putting in!

Thanks Guys
Zoie x

you will probably need someone to give you a hand when your examining the dogs ears, just hold him in your arms and comfort him for a few minutes to make him relaxed, before you go at his ears.

That's a good idea. Also, try decanting some of the drops into a different container so he doesn't automatically know what you're about to do. Can you warm it slightly?
