other dogs goin mad at my dog

just thought id have a little rant about how it does my head in when peoples dogs go crazy barking at my dog when walking past each other, my blake just looks at them asif hes saying, mate......shut up!! lol anyone have a dog that just doesn't care about dogs barking at them? or maybe the other way around where they do bark at other dogs? if so doesnt it do your head in.....

Dempsey sort of looks at barking dogs as if to say "Are you crazy? Look at the size of me!"

We have a couple in our area, Sophie just looks in their direction and carries on walking totally ignoring them.

there is a woman with 3 yorkies who does her walk round the reservoir where we go. i have tried different times but you can guarentee i will bump into her at some point not every walk but most. her yorkies yap bark and snarl but she never tells them off but you can guarentee if one of mine barked bakc they would be the nasty ones.

Trouble with my two is if a dog starts barking etc at them they WILL do it back lol .. a bloke on the beach wouldnt move his dog away from my two he was barking his head of at them and they were minding there own business .. i said to the owner can you call your dog off his annoying me let alone my dogs! and he went his ok he wont hurt them but vinnie and skye are double trouble when they want to be and always stick up for each other so the dog soon shot off when my two started barking back

We thankfully don't very often hear Rocky bark at all least of all when out on a walk. The only time he will bark is when he hears Alfie the dog next door start up. We think Rocky is getting the blame for making a lot of noise he dosn't make when in fact it is Alfie. This does do my head in a little

Romeo just looks disgusted at their behaviour.
But he has his own moments. Met the most fantastic Rotty today called Buzz. Enormous, fluffy, entire male. Uh-oh I thought they'll be a stand off, but Buzz was so friendly and chilled out. Romeo actually barked at him and chased him away, little sod!
In general though, he's not a barker.

Monte gets excited but doesn't bark back. Frosty wants to looks like "GET ME OUTA HERE!!!!" Does make us irritated but in our town if a dog barks outside for more than 5 minutes with in 30, you can call the police and the owner will be cited. Only really for those who leave their dogs outside all day though. Monte can start barking when he wants to play and sometimes that is directed at another dog. I hate that...

Amen! I was about to cross a road, and some yappy little thing came up next to me and was lunging and snarling at my Staff who was sitting quietly by me, off-lead and he looked over at it all like "Dude...get a GRIP!"

Suki doesn't really pay them any attention

Yeah all the time ... we often say that Max must look like trouble to other dogs making them want to get in there first outa fright (but only when he's on the lead ) ..... if they are as big or bigger than him he just silently pulls and scrabbles towrads them in a "come on then" type way

there is this tiny dog, I mean it looks like a rat on a lead, it has a pink lead/collar and jacket and my god when we pass it it yaps and pulls like nobodys bussiness, Moo hides behind me, its very amusing!!

He is an awesome lad IMO .... I would liken him to a professional, superfeather weight boxer I think ..

massively strong for his size
amazing endurance
able to do pretty much anything physically
but mentally stable, and not aggressive with other dogs if its not called for .... for now

chloes a pain in the neck when shes sees other dogs, she doesnt bark but sort of screams really loudly if she cant get to them...its so embarrassing
