When did you have your dog spayed/neutered?

we had ruby spayed as soon as we got her back to full health
vet advised as she was not long from dead when we got her
and we wanted what was best for ruby.
as she is only small they said if she was mated by a full size staffie or
any larger breeds she would possibly have problems so one healthy dog
and no unwanted puppys

billy was just over 1 year

Ty was 6 months through the rescue and kaos was nearly 8 months

Only ever had one dog neutered & taht was because of Pyo. I can't remember how old she was, but I think it was around 3 years old-ish. All my others have remained entire.

Millie was about five when she came to us and was unspayed so we got her spayed asap. Not sure when casey was spayed but i think she was younger than 2?

Saxon was neutered at 6 months, Bowie the cat was neutered at 6 months, and Ziggy the cat was spayed at 1 year.

I was very young when Casey was a pup which is why I am unsure as to when she was spayed but I will try and find out

Millie was 9 months old. She was booked in to get spayed at 6 months because thats what the vet advised but she went into season so had to wait. I think with Bella I'm going to wait until she is a bit older though.

We had Suki done around six months

Tilly has just been done at 18 months (apparently this reduces the risk of incontinence problems ???)

Jake was done at 3 years. The reason he wasn't done before was down to my ignorance really.

Harvey won't be done and future dogs won't be done unless medically need it

we had chloe done as soon as we got her, but she was already an adult. all my dogs and cats have been neutered, from 6 months if i got them as young un, or as soon as possibly if they were already adults. far too many animals in need of a good home, dont want to be adding to the problem.

Heston hasn't been done yet.... Reading all of the research on the health benefits/concerns has made me very hesitant as to what would be best for him, even though the rescue centre he came from want us to neuter him at 6 months. I'm hoping they won't notice
