8" female staff

just seen this picture on the homeless hounds site where we got Lottie. they have a few dogs in looking for homes but this one jumped out at me. Poor little thing is only about 8" tall.

they have lots of dogs like all these rescue centres do and you feel for them all but look at her she isnt the size of a pair of wellies. what could something so small do to offend someone so much that they would abandon her. poor love. she isnt an ugly dog either i bet that face is lovely if it wasnt looking so out of sorts and scared

they are also on facebook. i have just been looking at the dogs waiting for homes and they have 2 litters ready the end of january being hand reared. keep the mum and dump the babies how cruel and calous can you get

Just been reading your story on their website , you must feel very proud of what you have done and hats off to you along with all the others on here that have taken a rescue

they only told us it was on yesterday. the bit about "not thinking she would ever be safe to rehome" was nicely omited from the description they gave us. good job we formed our own opinion of her when we met her.

yes Lee it does break your heart.. so many homeless dogs through no fault of their own...

wonder if my 2 realize how lucky they are!

I have a lot of trouble looking at the picture as it makes me incredibly sad. She is beautiful, and when I showed my husband he said what I was thinking: if we lived in the UK still, we would probably try to get her I really hope someone adopts her! After seeing this I went onto our R.S.P.C.A website and there was a staffy in the local rescue centre that was super friendly with humans and dogs (sounds like a normal staffy to me!) but was scared of hoses and broom handles... OMG!!!!! Some people in this world are truly awful and disgusting! This is why I am banned from looking at animal rescue sites... I just become really upset and emotional, and that's nothing compared to how I was when we went to the R.S.P.C.A to look for a cat... HUGE mess I was leaving there!

Hey Alicia I know the feeling! My husband gets so mad when he comes inside and finds me blubbering...I get newsletters with graphic pics from the animal charities I donate too, plus I get allsorts of videos and photo updates from the various animal organizations on facebook. it absolutely breaks my heart.. I just cannot fathom some of the most horrific and cruel and nasty acts against dogs ( and indeed other animals of course ) and Tony says why do you look at them!! Then I always go and cuddle my 2 precious boys.. and cry even more!!.. it just breaks my heart.......

aw i had to look at that picture twice, she looks a lot like river did..i hope she finds a forever home soon
