Am i too late ??
Just wondering if iv'e left it too late to get Inca insured....
As some of you will know Inca suffered for a good several months with demodex mange and ringworm, which we eventually got cleared up but around that time we didn't have the funds to get her insured ... Now with her patchy fur coming back and she's already had some bloods done to check her thyroids (which came back fine) .. Am taking Inca back the vets tomorrow as her fur isn't getting any better and they now want to do some comprehensive blood tests to try and find if she has an underlying problem which is allowing the mites to get a hold of her again (also if the fur lose is down to mites aswell) but is also stopping the Panomec from working ( which cured her the 1st time around) .. !!! Hope your keeping up with me babblin..
Basically can i still get Inca insured and would i have to mention anything about her getting Mange and ringworm as a puppy.. and do i mention what is going on with her now ??
Please help if you can ... Thanx

If you want to insure her to cover the costs of an ailment you already suspect is coming then yes its too late, it would be classified as scamming in a way. Its the same with horses, they have to be COMPLETELY healthy to get insured.

Yes, unfortunatly new insurance doesn't cover existing problems. And to be honest when mine was covered because we triled so many different treatments I always had to pay an excess anyway, so it wouldn't have helped.

Still get her insured. The problem may not be the problem you treat her for. Anyway excess for these things is usually high, and she will grow out of it I'm sure. Xx
