Post by Guest Mon Oct 03 2011, 12:00

I have found a male staffy about 10am this morning.he is brindle and White looks quite young.no collar and is intact. I have just taken him to the RSPCA who scanned him and he sadly has no microchip.he is really friendly and was in good condition so obviously is well loved.he was found in the willenhall area of Coventry so please contact the RSPCA in coundon if he is yours and get the lovely boy home.pictures to follow but I'm posting from my phone right now so can't attach any at the min.he put his paw on my hand when I went to leave,as if to say thankyou for finding me.I had to stop myself crying :,(

It's such a shame that people don't have collars and tags on their pets, and even more......MICRO-CHIP. Would make it so much easier to find where they belong.

Good on you for making sure he is now somewhere safe where hopefully he will be re-united with his master.

Its just irresponcible to not have your dog chipped! It doesn't cost much and could save a lot of heart ache for the owners and stress for the dog.

Well done Lisa and I hope someone claims him soon.

Well done. Hopefully the handler finds him quickly. Every dog should have a microchip espically Staffies since they are great escape artists.

Im really peed off that he never had a microchip. It was totally heartbreaking for me to see him so scared. He was a real cuddle monster and so friendly. The lady said if he isnt claimed in 7 days then he will be up for rehoming. He was just wondering around near the main road Surprised i called him over and put one of cairos spare collars on him,fed him some treats and gave him a drink.I put him in the car and he sat on my lap as we went up there and my hubby drove us.All the way there he was good as gold.He just wanted a cuddle Crying or Very sad

Since you wrote that he seemed to be well looked after I'm sure the handler is searching very hard so hopefully the rehoming won't be an issue.

They took my details and phone number so im hoping they will let me no.They asked if they could pass on my number to the person who owns him if he is claimed so they can say thanks to me.I hope whoever owns him has to have him microchipped before he is returned to them.

A staffy wouldnt be a staffy if it didnt burp in your face after eating anything! Mine did a full blow audible fart in my face once when i was tickling her belly. I couldn't move for laughing and gagging lol

I hope this little chap finds his family and if not i hope he gets a good home.
