dead leg???
My puppy is 12 weeks old...she has been fine all day today but now she won't putone her bk legs down and put any weight on it. She was playing outside until 7:30 came in had some water and went and laid in her bed she woke up about half hour ago.if I touch her leg in a certain spot she tries 2 mouth me like tellin me 2 get off. Is it possible that she's got a dead leg?? Thankyou

Re: dead leg???
I think it's more likely that she's twisted or strained it. Let her rest quietly (hahaha! - chance'll be a fine thing!) for 24 hours & if it's no better a trip to the vets for a quick examination & maybe some painkillers.

I can't think of anyway she could hve done it, as I say she literally came in (and I know she was fine then as I was playing with her) and then went straight to sleep...she's got an appointment at the vet 2moro anyway to be micrchipped so I will ask them to take a look why she's there

Re: dead leg???
She probably did it & didn't even know until it stiffened up. That's the trouble with staffs, they have a very high pain threshold so they often don't show any injuries till it's really sore, or it stiffens up.

Yes, could easily have happened playing. They throw themselves around so much!
Oh, and say goodbye to having the sofa to yourself - she's gonna want it all the time, now!
