Whilst I feel sorry for her, I fail to see how this is front page news over the terrible tragedy that is in Norway!

Sad but inevitable the hangers on will latch onto someone else and destroy them now

She was her own worst enemy. Many people are tempted by drink & drugs, but they don't all succumb.

As I said, I feel sorry for her, but it was inevitable, the way she had acted, the way she led her life.

if she was my daughter i would of lock her up for at least 5 years i wouldn't of made money from her!!

She was an adult. Her parents had no way of controlling her, neither did the few friends she had who had her best interests at heart. As an adult, she could do what she wanted with her life - she just chose the wrong course.

I wouldn't care if my daughter was a druggy liek her i would lock her up till she didn't want drugs or beer.

Steve, you couldn't. As I say, she was an adult, adults have to find their own way - with plenty of advice, yes, but you can't control their lives for them.

i would... I wouldn't care if it got me in trouble i just couldn't watch my daughter or son kill themself.... they may hate me forever after it but aslong they was off i could live with that....

I know a girl who was very addicted to pills and her mother had her commited several times. Over here there are a few ways to do it. If you claim they have a mental illness or are a danger to themselves you can have them "put in" for treatment and evaluation for a extended period of time.

I know what you mean, Steve - I'd like to say I'd do the same for my two. But there comes a time when you have to let them make their own mistakes & come to their own realisation of what they've done.

You could lock em up for 10 years, but if they didn't want to be clean, then as soon as they were let out they'd be back on it again. An addict has to want to get clean.

Poor girl, but at least she's at peace.

steve - my friend is going through this at the moment with her 15 year old son, yes 15! they like to get them young and the so called support networks are letting her down.she only found out about it by some dealer he owed money to putting a brick through her window. she has seen her own mother go through his with her brother for over a decade with the softly softly approach and it hasnt worked so she is taking the tough love approach that you would

It's still unreal.. I'm glad to hear a friend of my got off the island unharmed, but so many are dead.. It's sad and beautiful to see almost everyone with a flag pole (probably everyone that are not away on holiday) have the flags on half mast today.

I had forgotten that she used to very attractive before the drugs took hold of her.

brown & crack are nasty drugs!! i swaer i would lock up my daughter if she turn into a crack head... i dont care if i get in trouble
