Last day of freedom....
Today is my last day as a stay at home mother! Tomorrow I start my university course full time and Ian will be at home in the week with the children!
Bit gutted though as Harrison has finally been given a nursery place next door to Hollie's school and he starts tuesday. It will only be 2 and a half hour sessions same as Hollie, but I can't believe he is growing up and going to pre-school! Really hope he is ok tuesday as I won't be there with them, but no doubt he will be fine as he is a proper Dadi's boy anyway!
Not looking forward to assignments again. I recently did a years long access to healthcare course at college, which had a really intense workload. Found it quite demanding and so I have really enjoyed my summer holidays being me with no assignments looming. Also not looking forward to a messy house again Ian just can't seem to multitask and tidy the house and look after the kids, hated that when I was at college and no doubt will hate it again
But the kids and him will have a whale of a time when I am at uni! They love being at home with their dadi, especially Harrison!

2 kids, a uni course, a house to look after, a dog..........Gee's girl you have a busy time ahead! It'll be fun though, all the best for Harrisons first day at pre-school, it'll give Ian 2.5 hours to clean the house (wishfull thinking )

All the very best for your studies.........it sounds like it will be a "challenge" to balance study, children, household, hubby, social life etc..... but i'm sure it will be worth it in the end.
Good on you for following your dreams. What is the course you are about to begin?

Best of luck, I'm sure like most women "we do our best when under pressure". I think 2.5 hours would be a reasonable amount of time to get some serious housework out the way.

I will, I am going to be studying medical sciences and humanities.

yes I suppose I will do. I was at college 2 days a week for the last year which was bad enough, work load at home was horrendous but at least this time I have to take regular breaks from studying to walk Tinkerbell, and come on here of course
Thanks I am sure Harrison will love it, but Ian does have an excuse already for not cleaning on tuesday. Because it is Harrison's first day he has to stay with him to settle him in for a bit! Wonder what the excuse will be when he goes on thursday!

Thankyou, it is a medical sciences and humanities degree. Although not sure what I am going to do after it, if I get good enough grades I am hoping to either do further studying to become a paediatric consultant, or reapply for the midwifery degree which I was recently unsuccessful for.

Well I manage to normally drop Hollie off, come home and clean the house from top to bottom and sort washing out. I bet though he won't have time to blink so housework will be left to me when I get in!
