I so miss a full roast dinner, not allowed them anymore since the other half is on slimming world.
You can still have roast dinners, just replace the usual fats with fry light, remove the fat off he meat, and syn the gravy!! (can you tell I've done SW before??)
I had Steak pie, roast potatoes, mushy peas and gravy....mmmmmmmm.
Re: What did you have for dinner?

I know but its just not the same an would prefer not to have a sunday roast to be honest, roast potatos are just not the same without being roasted in and basted with loads of oil.
Would prefer the lamb shank dinner with mash over a SW roast dinner. But that still dont even come close to a proper good roast dinner (Oh how I miss you, lol). I also miss the Ribeye Steak and home made chips with mushroom and onion cream source I used to make. Or the slow roasted belly pork with cream and cider source mmmmmmm.
Wont be long now and we can both have the one every other week or so. She is on track to hit her target weight by xmas, she already lost nearly 3 and a half stone. :O
Lastnight had home made curry, mmmmmm (Only a few sins on SW for the low fat coconut milk)

Re: What did you have for dinner?
Oh I do love me roasts. I do one at least once a week (sorry Johneva lol). Never really bother on Sundays though. More usually a week night. Roast pork crackling is food of the Gods!!!!
Today though I had some filo prawns (how posh does that sound? ) and potato things (as tech as I get)

Greek yogurt with local honey in it. Probably better for a breakfast than a dinner, but we don't have much food in the house!
