I cannot wait for Saxon's new collar to come in!! One more week, just seems too long!

TOTALLY agree!
I'm supposed to be going into town to pay a cheque in to my account & then buy some dog food.
I really can't be bothered, but I'll have to go soon.

Re: The Random Thread
Made the most of the lovely weather this arvo Hubby mowed and edged the front lawn and I did some weeding. Looks so much nicer now, since not getting a lot of attention over the wetter months.
After we finished we sat out the front with a cuppa .... and the kids bought "RoXy Dog" out too. She was good as gold.

Re: The Random Thread
would really love to get married very soon without telling anyone, except partner of course.
I have been wanting to marry Ian for the last 5 years, and we have spoke about it in the past but then the kids came along and we just can't afford it. I have a huge family, one of 6 children, and Ian's family don't speak to him. Plus he is an only child. I'd love to have a no expense spared wedding, just me, Ian, the kids and our required two witnesses. No dress, no reception just pay for the actual marriage and a pair of rings. But I know the reaction from my family would be bad if they weren't told or invited. So tempted to just do it though!

Re: The Random Thread
I'd love to but can't afford the holiday at the moment. I would just love to go to the registry office and get married as cheap as possible then tell everyone!

Agreed. If you are okay with it than go ahead. No sense in paying for a big wedding for years if you don't want one. Everyone will get over it.

Re: The Random Thread
That's exactly why I don't want a big wedding, I just persoanlly think it is a waste of money. You spend thousands to make it a nice day for the guests, but is that really worth it?! I want to get married for the act of marrying someone I love not to get married for the appeal of the grand ceremony and reception.
