milly is frightened of heights

we have realised today that milly doesnt like heights.my daughter wanted to have her up on the top bunk bed for a cuddle earlier today and when she was lifted up she just froze the beds arent that high of the ground either but she was so scared that she had to be lifted back down.She is the same when she is picked up for a cuddle she just freezers and you can see the fear in her eyes.maybe thats why she wouldnt cross the bridge when my hubby took her for the long walk a few weeks ago.has anyone else noticed this with your dogs

Harry is a very loving boy but he has never liked being picked up even when he was only 8 weeks old. Maybe its because he doesn't like heights never thought of it like that before.

Harvey doesn't like heights either, it took him until he was 5 months old to even try and use the stairs, he's not fussed now though, he also won't sit on walls or anything basically off the floor

Suki is fine with heights but does not like to be picked up at all.

we went down some steep stairs at a national park the other week and Russell refused to try it. but he is ok with being picked up and going up and down normal stairs... I dunno! with the bunk bed thats probably scary for the dog because jumping from that height isn't an option for them and so theres no escape if they need to get off? maybe Im not sure.

never known a dog frightened of heights. lemmy likes to be up high so he can see everything. he loves my daughter and son picking him up and walking round with him and he finds the highest vantage pionts every where in the house and garden even the garden table if he wants to. he's a sap of a sog really. excuse the son picture though he looks like he needs a good hair brush

Milly is ok with heights but hates bridges we have to put her on her lead when we go on any
