Not very good news about zena

Not been on for a while it's a shame I have to report bad news on my 1st post back. Me and the g.f was out and there was a packe of nurofen in my coat what was hung up anywhere we got back and 10 tabelts have been eaten so we rushed her to vets andgave her two jabs to make her sick but was to late the tablets already been diested so she got put on iv drip for her kidneys she stoped there all nite and needs to stop in all day today and tonight it doesn't sound good me and g.f are in bits she's only 5 month old we don't know what to do can't stop crying blade is Goin all over house looking for her

Cheers people I can't help but think the worst I don't no what I'd do if I lost her. Is there any vets on Here or anybody had same problem or simlier and what's her chances

Nurofen are a non steroid type of anti-inflammatory and the long term side effects in humans can be gastric bleeding and renal/kidney impairment. I really don't know if dogs would be the same, but there may be similar issues. The fact that you got her to the vet so quickly should work in her favour. They will be able to monitor for any gastric bleeding and hopefully the IV fluids will keep her kidneys well hydrated.
I can totally empathise with you due to a similar episode that involved ratsak and my ex OH (pity it was the dogs). Both my dogs were ok, but it makes you feel so ill and sad at the same time.
Fingers, toes and everything else X'd that little Zena will get through this ok. Remember to give Blade lots of cuddles as well. In fact they make great sobbing pillows sometimes.

Awww, poor little darling. Fingers crossed that she pulls through fine with no long-term ill effects. Like said above, she's in the best place getting the care she needs. It's always hard when our pets are not well, but TRY to stay positive.
Blade must be missing her lots.

Am so sorry and fingers and toes crossed she pulls through. It has definately made me think, my handbag is within reaching distance of Summer and I know for a fact that there is a packet of paracetamol in there!!! have moved it!

Hey guys guess what we got her back today all good news blood test show no kidney problems yeaaaaa. She's doing good not her self yet in total she had 8 blood tests and was n a drip for a few days and now £700 lighter her legs are still sore
